The "Us" in About Us is about me and my doggie Molly a Labrador Retriever.
I have been surrounded by doggies all my life, my parents always had two German Shephard doggies which I walked daily and from there my love for doggies and walking has grown.
My love for doggies inspired me to do a dog grooming course and I worked in the industry for just over a year until life events took over and circumstances changed.
I acquired two Labrador Retrievers, Molly and Jasper, oh what a handful two small puppies are, chewing everthing that wasn't nailed down, but it was all worth it, they grew up into two fantastic doggies
My inspiration in setting up It's a Doggies Life came from when I went on a holiday and put them into kennels for the first time, I thought they would be happy being together. I was mistaken, when I returned home they were very distressed, that was when I decided to start up my own business, so I can give other doggies the love and attention they deserve.
Unfortunately I had to say Goodbye to Jasper after he contracted a chronic liver illness, after many a visit to the vet, sleepless nights and various medications there was nothing more the Vet could do - it's hard to lose a loved one but life must go on.
