Coats
Try from early on in your doggies life to brush or comb softly, so they get used to been groomed. Groom your doggie at least once a week , especially during winter with the central heating playing havoc with there coats
Nails
For clipping doggies nails do not go to far down towards the quick, otherwise it will hurt the doggie and bleed, they will not trust you again, if unsure see your vet. I know black nails are more difficult to clip, so I recommend a vet does it. Not expensive to do.
Ears
Clean your doggies ears regularly with cotton wool and warm water.
Grass Stains
If you have a female that urinates on the grass it goes brown and dies, good tip is to put tomatoe juice, just a little bit in the morning meal. It takes about 3 months to work but is worth still having green grass.
Brushing Your Dog's Teeth
To prevent gum disease, tooth loss and bad breath, teeth should be brushed at least once or twice a week. Using a small SOFT childs toothbrush and DOGGIE toothpaste, usually available form a pet store or vet, gently brush gums and teeth.
DO NOT use humans toothpaste as this upsets the doggies tummy.
Start brushing when the doggie is a pup and this will help overcome difficulty when the doggie is older
